RapidFire Quote of the Week
This week's RapidFire Quote of the Week comes from Clint Mathis, speaking to MLSNet.com about making his return from injury to play in Saturday's game:

"It's finally nice to get to...play a game after getting only 15 minutes in the first one and missing the second one. It was nice to get out there in front of the home crowd. I thought I had one goal there off of that shot. I'm looking forward to the next game in two weeks against Houston."

Home crowd? Please...

Tarley scored in the season opener for the MN Thunder. It was a nice goal. He put a lot behind the shot from a tight angle and managed to get it past the GK at the near post.

Rusty Pierce has started all 5 games for the Crew and looks to be starting against RSL this weekend.

Is a chant of "Salt-Lake Re-ject" too self-depreciating? At this point I couldn't think of anything more degrading that to be rejected by the worst team in the history of the league.
