No. In fact, the place marked on the map is the location of several businesses and residences. So I'm pretty sure it was a mistake. The little red box should actually show up a couple of blocks down. Kitty-Corner (spelling?) south west of the Expo Center.

Actually, I think it is the right site. There are businesses on the immediate corner, but the site (at least the one announced by Uncle Dave at the Big Show) is directly across State Street from Jordan Commons. I'm not sure how much of the block has been acquired at this point. Hopefully RSL can get all or most of it.

No, I don't believe that is correct. I think that the plans are to put it right across the street from Jordan Commons. At least that is what the photo mock-up they had shows.

Take a look at the area on Google Earth if you have it. A little bit NE of the intersection of 94th and State is a pretty large field. (Picture appears to have been shortly after the field was tilled as you can see what looks like furrows)

Interesting. They are either going to have to put it deep into the block, or they're going to be buying a lot of people out of their property (or using eminent domain - oh no!!) because the whole south east corner is covered with businesses and homes. I had thought the more logical placement was farther south where there is alot more barren area, it's closer to the 9800 S TRAX station, it's positioned more in the middle of the 10600 and 9000 freeway exits/entrances and it's right off of State Street. Oh well, I guess if they've already got it figured out...
