ReAL Spanish Fork! Yeah!

No parking problems here. Just park in that pasture, uh,
parking lot over there.

Oh, and tell the players to be careful not to step in something.

Real Spanish Fork would be a disaster. There's *already* enough confusion as to how to pronounce "Real" without having to worry about how to pronounce "Spanish Ferk"

The RSL management is saying just wait and see the proposal.

While All I see on the side of each city is quite a bit of posturing!

Pardon me for being just a tad bit (OK! VERY) skeptical, but I don't trust politicians. I think many Politicians are NOT concerned with the public benefit but are actually looking to make sure they get the best possible deal in exchange for their vote!

In Politician Speak... things like "I am skeptical" and "I am not saying I am voting for(or against) it but..." translate to "I am ready to be persuaded!" in other words... "What is in it for me?" and "My vote may be expensive!"

The politicians are using local papers to make sure that the team knows which votes are for sale! Why else would they be making public comment on a proposal they have not even seen? Any real comment in any other situation would warrant either a "No Comment" or "I am not at liberty to discuss the proposals until a public hearing!"

And why else would all the politicians continually "vote down" the bill in each session of the state legislature, to publically disclose lobbyist "gifts".
Because they stand to get many "Gifts" for their votes!

whew that was a bit more than I intended to write! Sorry!

Good points, Deuce. Can't say that I disagree.

The most frustrating thing for me is just knowing that 95% of the citizens who would eventually vote on any bond issue will be completely uninformed. And a lot of that has to do with the public comments made by our government officials.
