I'm okay with no Pope or Klein. Let them practice with the club (if they're allowed to).

Isn't there someone that could take Wolff's spot? Anyone that's finishing their chances right now? That's not Ching?

You hit the nail on the head (kind of)...the US lacks forwards who can do what Wolff does...speed option who plays on the edges to keep the defense honest and create space for our target forward and mids. If we had another forward (other than Donovan) who could do this, Wolff would be sitting at home...or better, at the practice pitch working on his finishing.

It looks to me like they are trying to give all the Euro players on the back line (and Dunivant) a look. They already know what Eddie can do - no need to bring him/wear him down with traveling.

As for Klein, he's definitely on the bubble - I guess he won't make the WC roster. They want to start solidifying their midfield and get the MLS guys and Euro guys on the same page. Too bad for Klein, but great for us at RSL.

Maybe Arena is waiting for Connor Casey to get healthy and then boot Wolff.

I was actually expecting there to be even less MLS players for this match. I'm wondering if the ones that are there are the ones Bruce is gettig serious about taking to the WC. This is going to be against a good team with a rich soccer history (placed 3rd in '78). And it's going to be on German soil. It'll be one this for TT to play well against the Japanese at home, it'll be anothe rto see how he and others do away from home.

Hopefully the Poles will field an extremely competitive team. This really has the potential to be a great test for the USMNT...

Zurwaski is in great form right for Celtic. Assuming he plays I think that he'll be a good test for the defense.

Yahoo says that Klein is going.

Noonan got hurt last night, so Klein gets a trip to Germany.
