Ref shows himself a red card

A ref kicked himself out of the game after an argument with a player. Is this a first?

That's perhaps the strangest booking I've ever heard of. So is he suspended for the next match, too? Last place in the Referee Fair Play competition?

I guess on the bright side, his backup was glad to finally get off of the bench.

Well I think it's marvelous! A referee with a ethics. 😕

You think we'll ever see Palomino do that? He should have done it about a dozen times (or more). 🙄

Boy, am I glad this wasn't on my referee test.

A referee is allowed to kick out a referee's assistant. (Linesman, to you Oldschoolers.)

But this is something that's not on the Grade 8 test.
