Along the same lines, I wanted to get a Kreis jersey with 100 as his number, but the MLS shop only limits you to 2 digit numbers (00 would be lame!)
Roman: C = 100

Team Gear would probably do it for you. I know that they put 111 on a jersey.

My eleventy-one only looks a little odd. They may look at you funny, but they will probably do it for you.

I made it to about 45 minutes of practice today (probably shouldn't skip class, but I need to get my soccer fix!). They were wrapping up passing drills when I showed up and finished with a half hour of 9 - on - 9 (5 minutes to "win"/score a goal - losers are replaced by another 9). It looked like they widened and lengthened their practice area today - 50 yards long instead of 35-40, about 10 yards wider. Practiced indoors again (ok, it was a bit colder today than yesterday)

Kreis was practicing with a knee brace during passing drills but did not participate in the 9 - on - 9 scrimmaging. Is a season opener return a little too hopeful? Maybe they'll just start him out slow, 45 min/match. I'll be surprised if he really does go 45 in Louisiana on Saturday, though.

Christian Jiminez may be butt ugly, but he sure works his butt off.

Kam participated in the scimmages - he still has moves in his old age!

Gustavo seems to hold on to the ball too much - can't make immediate decisions where to pass it.

Klein and Brownie are working great together on the right side - Chris K is going to help Chris B become much better.

Acosta looks much better with his head BIC'd. I wish he'd go back to that. Looked like he fits in ok with the team.

Douglas was playing quite a bit on the attacking end. Is this a hint of what we'll see in the future? It would be great to have our holding mids come up more on the attack, if they are able to hustle back and mantain their physical presence on D.

Overall, most of the players seem to be moving around the ball a lot better.

I can't help but get excited for the opener and see how this all turns out - 25 DAYS!

Sorry, but no report for today - I looked like an abominable snowman by the time I made it from the parking lot to class, and didn't feel like doing the same to go down to the practice field. I guess I'm not a 100% die hard fan. :king:
