How many people think Brasil is the most famous soccer team in the world? (Post-World Cup Celebration Tour?)

Ya know, you could argue that the "most famous team in soccer" could be the "oldest team in soccer" Sheffield FC.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=324688&root=europeus&cc=5901

But honestly, if you look at what teams would be the "most famous" at the current time you'd have to go with

Real Madrid
Barcelona
Man U
Liverpool
Chelsea
AC Milan
Bayern Munich

*grasping at straws*

I guess this is the reason why they sent out that survey about which teams you'd like to most see play a friendly against RSL a while back?

Of course the most famous team in my little world is none other than Nottingham Forest but I am sure Uncle Dave is not looking at my little world.

He is talking about the real world. and in the real world the most famous teams, as much as it pains me to say it, are Manchester United and Real Madrid!

Considering Uncle Dave's love for Real Madrid I would be willing to bet in his little world it is just Real Madrid!

A Season ticket package consists of 20 games. With only 16 MLS games, this leaves 4 games to make up with things like 'friendlies', Open Cup matches, playoffs, etc.

But from teh SL Trib, I came away thinking there isn't much of an overall issue and last night's meeting was all about Crockett beating up on Checketts.
That's because the Trib hates the Sandy stadium deal, and the idea of a "dry" stadium, and pretty much soccer, from what I gather, whereas Deseret News at least tries to be a little more objective about the whole thing. The Trib tends to commit a form of journalistic-credibility suicide when it comes to RSL... (anyone notice just how many readers' letters they have posted that are against RSL?)

Here's my big question (causing my constant consternation), though: WHEN IS REAL SALT LAKE'S PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPARTMENT GOING TO JOIN THE FIGHT?! And when are we going to be able to go and give our opinions on this whole thing to the City Council? And why isn't anyone else talking about sending Larry Miller a nice, fat bill for the PUBLIC money he got for the Delta Center (assuming RSL doesn't get any public money, that is...)?

Well I don't know... but I heard FIFA is going to allow WCQ matches on field turf in future...
