I saw a mascot before an EPL match started.

No RSL Cheerleaders ever? Great, there goes that career option.

I don't think you're going to win the contest.

Don't worry... you can probably still get on with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

You don't have to be able to even do a double pirouette. All you need is lots of plastic surgery and Mystic Tan.

Well, I can't speak for other sections, but 37 is pretty much AO.

So if RSL is doing this "for the kiddies", then keep him over by the kiddies in the corner.

I don't know... I *heard* that they were looking at other alternatives because SG was so expensive. This was a while back though.

We've had a mascot here in Minnesota for many, many years and I believe that Thor brings a lot to the Thunder organization. He doesn't add to my enjoyment of the game but he adds a lot of visibility at charity events and frankly parents are more comfortable with their kids hanging around a guy in a big Thor suit than with a bunch of guys in sweats.

As for cheerleaders.... we got them last year in MN and they were a disaster. There were good intentions to get them to work in the same way as the mascot and to keep them from our view, but it hasn't worked out. They didn't get involved in charity events and weren't that good in increasing the visibility of the team. Although they'll still be here this year, I have a suspicion that they won't be in 2007.
