I was able to go down on the field last weekend at LaVell Edwards Stadium. And from my perspective, I don't think Real Madrid would want to play on the field. The crown of the field is very substantial, especially outside the lines of the football playing field. I don't think there would be enough space, width-wise, to put a decent sized soccer field. I don't think RM would want to play on a field just barely larger (by a yard or two) than San Jose played on last year. There just isn't enough room for a soccer game at LES.

During the pep rally the night before the home opener, Steve P. had an intimate question and answer session with all in attendance. One of the questions was about this very concern. He mentioned that LES would indeed be able to accommodate a soccer match of that type and scale from a field perspective, and that it was a good option.
