Rock bottom Salt Lake

(Warning! This is a depressing post!)

Well, after two matches, RSL is rock bottom. 12th place out of 12.

This is depressing to look at this table.

On the positive side, the only place we can go is up...

I remember people cheerfully saying last winter, "At least we can't get any worse!" and I would nod my head and think, "Well, technically..."

Might we also mention there are 4 other teams out there that have yet to win a game...including last years champions!

LETS GET IT STARTED! 4 more days

Lloyd: What are the chances of a guy like you and a girl like me... ending up together?
Mary: Not good.
Lloyd: You mean, not good like one out of a hundred?
Mary: I'd say more like one out of a million.
[pause]
Lloyd: So you're telling me there's a chance.

Well, we can say it now! ๐Ÿ˜

I think there are a couple issues here, on that means bupkiss, the other a bit more but only so much.

bupkiss --> That after 2 games on the road at the start of a 32 game season, a team hasn't won a game.

worrying --> RSL hasn't won a game since Aug 6 when they beat Chivas 2-1 at home. I still think it only means so much since there was an offseason and a lot of the squad has been cast off and new faces brought in.

I guess I'm a little confused. Why is there talk of concern already. We're two games in.....TWO! Everyone take a deep breath, look at all the new players, and look forward to the homecomeing.
With that said, if we don't see a result on saturday (and we, as fans, should be absolutely demanding it) then we can start to get discouraged....atleast I will, primarily because I feel we are a better team then we are showing...in the mean time, heres to Saturday...

I remember watching Columbus smoke LA last year in the opening game. I remember thinking "wow, Crew have a great team and Razov and Buddle are unstoppable, they are going all the way. I also remember thinking "wow, LA sucks hard core, they aren't even going to make the playoffs at this rate".
