Nice Prime!! Do you know if these are official jerseys or if they were just practice jerseys?

yeah to me they look like practice jerseys (some standard adidas kit with the RSL logo sewn on)... what's the word, Prime?

Wow those look great!

I'm confused tho...!

Are those the 3rd or training jerseys?

They don't match the drawings released by RSL...

Just wondering out loud!

I also suspect that these are practice jerseys.

For a while there, the Galaxy's practice jerseys that we saw during preseason friendlies were a lot better looking than their official jerseys.

If what the guy at Fanzz told me is right, RSL jerseys won't be on sale til April so I suspect that they won't make the jerseys for the players too much ahead of that.

Sorry guys I should have asked Trey. I will definately find out at the Quakes or Crew matches this weekend. I think they are third or training jerseys.

And if you thought RSL's are plain, ugh, look at the DC United ones. Suck!

Those are the DCU training jerseys which are just the standard Adidas training top. You can actually buy them at any major sports store (minus the DCU logo of course). I saw these same training jerseys during a DCU / cRapids game during the warm-up. The RSL jerseys look almost identical to the DCU ones just with different colors. So I would agree that their just training jerseys.

Steve P. mentioned at the last Loyalists meeting that the jerseys would be done just in time for the MLS opener. In fact, you might have to pre-order them to be sure you have one in time. He mentioned that they were trying really hard to have them out before the home opener. It sounded like the team didn't even have the players' jerseys yet. He acknowledged that they were cutting it close but it was in Adidas' hands.

Atleast most of the league is in the same boat. I believe all the teams except a handful are moving to Adidas jerseys (if they weren't already) with the remainder migrating next year.

Did I miss something? Last I heard Pablo Brenes was NOT re-signing with MLS and staying in Costa Rica.

Yet there he is in that fetching blue training uni and nearly smiling!

Great shot... I am glad to see he is playing for RSL after all!

Is anyone else just a little bit giddy about the fact that RSL has now played it's first match?
regardless of the final score both of those reports are very good and I don't see anything in either that is overly alarming considering the circumstances.

I am! Honestly I'm not sure what my expectations were for the preseason but I'm fine with the result. I figure they're going to lose more than they win for a little while before they get comfortable with the team, coach, city, etc. I'm just glad they're here! I'm planning on enjoying every minute of even if we lose. (Just so long as we don't lose to the crapids or chivas.)
