Fiddler’s Elbow? I just noticed that you guys meet at a place called Fiddler’s Elbow now.
Why did you leave Iggy's? Just curious.

Didn't you know? That's where the RCB hang out.

I do feel bad for Iggy's, didn't they buy the commercial MLS DK just for RSL fans? Oh wel. No biggie, just curious.

Iggy's was approached by RSL and did not wish to become the official away game headquarters.
For the past year and a bit the FO has chosen places that were not in line with the Loyalists family friendly attitude. SkyBox was expensive and not "any" customer friendly much less family friendly. Lumpy's was a private club for 21 and over and allowed smoking. So the FO listened to our concerns and acted upon them. Proving once again that our Front Office is the best FO in the league! They found a place that met all of the needs of the Loyalists as well as the needs of the FO. We as a group could no longer say no to the FO's requests to join them in an "official capacity". So we joined them. Fiddler's Elbow and Salt Lake Pasta are family friendly. They have a huge screen, reasonably priced great food and it is non smoking. Above all that it is the "Official Away Game" place for RSL. From what I understand RCB members do attend Fiddler's Elbow which I think is great that they too, have chosen to support the Front Office this season as well. The Loyalists main purpose is to "Support RSL" and by supporting the FO's official functions we are supporting those of RSL. Seems rather a natural progression to me. Thanks Deuce. I didn't know the back story at all. Makes sense to me. Thanks for taking the time to post it.

Its tons better than Iggys but I dont like how its segregated...I always want to leave my kids on the pizza side and go over to the other to checkout who is over there. I guess I will still leave them home during away games...Moms time out.

I've dealt with LA (twice) San Jose, KC, Colorado, Chicago and RSL, and can agree that RSL was the best to deal with, although the guys in LA were nice as well.

The only disadvantage I would see to SLP/FE is that Iggy's is close to that new Trax stop.
Let's take that hotel tax money & run Trax into Sugarhouse! Oops.

The FO let us know that they were in negotiations with the Elbow to make it RSL's home for away games, and as a show of support to the RSL FO a bunch of the RCB have been going there for the away games.
As far as the Elbow goes, the food is great and the service is better. However, the other kid friendly side wasn't quite the same atmosphere. For the Dynamo match I brought my son and we were pretty much the only fans there. There may have been another family, but they left after about 15 minutes into the match. So, my son and I went to hang outside the Elbow to watch the match on the big screen, since clearly they weren't going to let my son in. So in a show of support for the Bardguy, all the RCB left the elbow and went to the Pizza and Pasta place. We all hung out in front of the TV, and when we scored, we cheered, jumped up and yelled. However, we were told to keep it down. So, in summary, the Elbow kicks ass, the Pasta place doesn't as much...yet. __________________
