The Newest Loyalist

Here are my photos of the newest Loyalist, Clint Mathis Douglass.

I'm just kidding about the name; his name is Gordon Roger Williams Douglass (yes, he has 4 names). He was born at 12:32 PM today, June 21. He weighs 7 lbs, 8 oz. I'm not sure on the length right now. Mom and baby are doing fine. Notice that I was wearing my RSL jersey. I have to make sure that he's indoctrinated from day one. 🙂

May I be one of the first to congratulate you and your wife. What an amazing thing that childbirth is. Kudos to your wife!

Congrats dad of 8...
Now the name actually fits 😉

glad to hear Mom of 8 and #8 are doing well...

you know you should have waited to see who scores tomorrow to end the drought... then named him after that player...

But if you don't like the name Dante you could name him after the assisting player... Jamie....

Congratulations

Awwwwwwwwww

How precious! (And how sad in those first few pictures.) I started feeling baby-hungry and then remembered I have two in the other room, peacefully asleep... I know this seems kind of random, but you're so lucky to have those first few precious moments with the baby, watching them get all cleaned up and washed off. I've never had that chance, because the doctors thought it was a good idea to sew me back up after cutting me open.. weirdos... 😉

Enjoy every moment! Please send our best wishes to TheMomster. 🙂

My brother's name is Clint and I wouldn't have hesitated one moment to name him Clint, but my grandfather's name and dad's name is Gordon so it was an honor to them and to my ancestor, Roger Williams.

I turned around and saw them sewing up my wife. I didn't pass out or get sick to my stomach or anything. The only part that really was gross was the cotterizing part, that stinks.
