Salt Lake soccer writer needed

After a fantastic response to an earlier appeal, American Soccer News (http://americansoccernews.net/) and Cyber Soccer Associates still has a couple of openings for people who have something to say about MLS and the US national teams in a more journalistic setting.

There are immediate openings in Dallas, Houston and Salt Lake, and we'll have a vacancy in Kansas City in the near future.

There's a long thread here (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=327489) discussing the pros and - very few - cons of taking up writing for CSA but to quickly reiterate - while this offers a unigue opportunity to get closer to the game, it is not for those who cannot commit to season-long coverage. Many of CSA's former writers and photographers have gon on to write or shoot for MLSnet.com, work directly for a team or contribute to the teams' version of Freekick.

If this sounds like something in which you would be interested, please contact managing editor Llew Llewellyn at with a short resume and a sample (750 words) of soccer writing

I do some photography for them... Llew is a pretty easy guy to work with.

They should update a few pages though. Like the staff writers and photographers page. That looks that same as it did before RSL joined the league.

Do they already have people in Toronto?

Sorry, I was just reposting what Llew posted over at BS. So I don't know the answers to your questions.

However, I do believe Loyal1 wrote for them last season.

If you're not careful, you might blow your cover.

It's way more fun to be self-deprecatory when nobody knows that you're doing it, duh...

???

Why did they say they need more SLC writers? If they have Sandy's favorite gal, why would you need anything more?

😉
