One thing I haven't seen mentioned on this board yet - RSL did say that LES' field is not wide enough in the corners. They would have to remove 2, if not all 4, of the concrete ramps leading to the field in the corners, lay sod there, and replace the ramps after the match. Anyone have any idea how much that would've cost?

Also, Uncle Dave talked with 1280 this morning and said the main reason for the stay at RES was the fans. They took a quick survey of the fans (I would assume that means a few season ticket holders), to see their opinion on location, and they fans said they wanted to stay at home at RES. I think we see the same opinion on this board - I would like to stay in Utah County, as would a few others, but more stated they prefer RES. This might have just been a small factor that tipped a very balanced scale in pro's and con's, but in the end, according to Dave, it was the fans' decission.

There will be two viewpoints:
http://rsldeuce.blogspot.com for the more direct, newsworth source

or

http://rslrogue.blogspot.com for the more lighthearted, what if I actually said this source. check them both out, I'm pretty sure they'll be updated today.

Hmmmm. The Ebay auction mentions an opportunity to see Zidane (along with Beckham and Ronaldo). As I understand, Zidane's last matches will be in Germany and he will retire (again) afterwards.

And didn't Ronaldo say he wants out and is looking for another team (European - sorry Red Bull NY) to transfer?

As expected, it will take a lot of ca$$$h to attend the game for those who don't have season tickets. I have a feeling the endzone tickets may go fairly quickly for this one, hopefully most of the seats will sell in the more pricey sections.

Now to see if people here at work who have been begging me for information about tickets are that motivated to attend or not.

So does this mean RSL is paying Real Madrid and looking to recoup as much as possible for the game?
