I think Pope would be a welcome return. I think he wasn't 100% because he had the world cup on his mind <achooo> wayne rooney <cough cough>

these lads on the field have nothing on their mind but playing balls out soccer for 90 minutes. Torres (who I think is hurt) is playing like a champion right now. Talley is hustling like a devil.

these boys are fun to watch.

I think bringing Watson in was a brilliant move. I don't think it was for any other reason than kill time. That wasted nearly a minute of the stoppage time. Good move by Ellinger to use the last sub to help ice the game.

I hated the Watson move... because they had taken Medhi out I lost some points in my fantasy league since number 10 didn't have a complete game.

Will we see Jamie next week to spell Cunningham or Kreis? Doesn't Attiba have to sit the next game since he just received back to back yellow cards?

I wonder if they would think about moving Douglas back to central defense and leave Talley where he is at. Although having Torres in the middle with Pope would be a pretty potent defense also.

I was going off of old information concerning card accumulation. I thought you had to sit if you had back to back games with yellows. Here's the rule and I guess Harris is now 1 away after this weekend...

Player -- Team -- Number of Cautions
Diego Gutierrez -- Chicago Fire -- 3
Ante Razov -- CD Chivas USA -- 3
Brandon Moss -- Columbus Crew -- 3
Carlos Ruiz -- FC Dallas -- 3
Dario Sala -- FC Dallas -- 3
Adrian Serioux -- Houston Dynamo -- 3
Daniel Hernandez -- New England Revolution -- 3
Atiba Harris -- Real Salt Lake -- 3
Carey Talley -- Real Salt Lake -- 3

Regular Season Caution Accumulation
A player who accumulates five (5) yellow cards over the course of the MLS Regular Season shall be suspended from the next Regular Season game in which he is eligible to appear and fined $250. After imposition of the first fine and one-game suspension for accumulating five (5) yellow cards over the course of an MLS Regular Season, a player who accumulates an additional three (3) yellow cards shall be suspended from the next regular season game in which he is eligible to appear and fined $500. After the imposition of the second fine and one-game suspension by virtue of accumulating eight (8) yellow cards over the course of a regular season, that player shall be suspended for one MLS Regular Season game and fined $750 for each accumulation of three (3) yellow cards awarded to him in any remaining MLS Regular Season games.

Good Behavior Incentive
If a player receives a caution during the Regular Season that brings him within one caution of any of the suspension thresholds (e.g., 4 cautions, 7 cautions), he shall be placed on "Warning." If a player is placed on "Warning" and appears in THREE (3) consecutive games without receiving a caution, being sent off or sanctioned by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for an infraction that occurs during one of the THREE (3) consecutive games, that player's personal caution total shall be reduced by ONE (1) caution. A player may only benefit from the Good Behavior Incentive one time per season.

That's a lot of money for some of these guys. Given the creative nature of the officials in MLS with regard to assessing card-worthy infractions, please tell me that there is some sort of appeals court?
