Well, no one chose France and only 3 chose Italy as the WC champion. Hmm. Its interesting to see how things played out in this WC. I chose Brazil over Argentina in the final and France over England in the third place match.

I did select Portugal as a dark horse in this tournament, but I didn't think they would get by England in the quarters.

I thought Argentina would beat Germany, but the Germans coolness paid off in the shoot out.

It is interesting to note that France most likely would have met Italy in the quarters if France had won their group.
