Who do you think will win the World Cup?

Who do you think will win the World Cup?

Here are the seeds for the 8 groups. Will one of them win the World Cup or will it be a Cinderella team?

I filled out a bracket based on my gut instinct and I have the Argentines wining in the final over Brazil.

I have USA (maybe a little bias) winning the consolation final over Serbia.

Poland (to Argentina), Ukraine (to USA), Germany (to Serbia) and Korea )to Brazil) losing in the quarters.

And for a little extra fun here are my group winners.

A-Poland
B-Swedan
C-Argentina
D-Portugal
E-USA
F-Brazil
G-France
H-Spain

So, we will see how I do.

By the way, this commercial is a response to the one in which Maradona is shown in a Brazil jersey. For those that don't understand Spanish, the narrator says, "Knowing that the best player in Brazilian football is Argentine - priceless”.

I'm surprised at how many of you think someone other than Brazil will win. This might be the least wide open tournament in recent memory - I think Brazil is head and shoulders better than the rest.

As far as Argentina goes.....well, you all know I'm a huge blanquiceleste fan, but given that the World Cup final isn't being played at El Monumental in Buenos Aires, they basically have no shot.

How boring would it be if everyone picked the "sure thing." I don't think anyone will be surprised if they win, but, for me anyhow, I think favorite often get knocked off.
