Make it easier:
DELAYED: RSL defender Marlon Rojas, the Trinidad & Tobago national teamer who played in Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against the U.S., likely won't arrive at training camp for several more weeks. The team hoped he'd be in training camp this weekend, but he's having delays with his work visa.

As for Luke, besides the obvious Force/Star Wars comments that my wife has already told me sound stupid :o , I think Czar Jake already termed the nick name "KrispyKream" as in the doughnuts. My wife approves. :D
Luke is awesome BTW, I am very glad that RSL has him.

Yeah I've been calling him "Krispy Kream" or "Krispy Kreamalmayer" and I'm sure we can have all sorts of fun with that

On another thread someone mentioned that the more Rojas plays the better he is getting. Maybe if he'd been with the team during training camp more he would be doing better.

I think that the team in general is still getting used to each other. Maybe that has to do with all of Ellinger's shuffling about.

Scilaci, if that theory were true, wouldn't Tiger Fitzpatrick be having more problems?

Tiger is working hard, and controlling the ball well, but he isn't necessarily connecting well with the rest of the team, yet. So I think that may still be a problem, just not as much as some other players.

I think you guys are being to hard on my homeboy Marlon. He played well last week. In fact, I had the best game of any of the back four. Hopefully it's a sign of good things to come.

Call me silly but I agree. I thought Rojas had some great moments in the last game. He 'poked' a very dangerous cross away during the first 45. That was nice.
Anyhow, the reason I resurrected this post was to give the Rojas baggers some explanation. I'm not one of them but I just thought it would be interesting.

About Tiger... he's got fabulous footwork and a wicked awesome shot against Chivas but I think he's still working on connecting to the team as well.

Just my opinion.

I think the way we've been playing lately, our defense - including Rojas has been under the microscope a lot. Sure he could have done better here or there, but overall, I think he's doing a great job. He's not perfect - if he was, we'd have two Eddie Pope caliber players on our defensive line. πŸ˜‰
