I haven't seen him play yet, but Luke K. has sure been mentioned alot during the preseason. He seems to be the best of the young guys. Perhaps he'll be able to make a decent contribution this year.

Hey guys, we went to the Quakes and Crew matches yesterday, but with toddler and pregnant wife in tow, when we got back late at night we hit the hay.
But I am here to field questions now. I'll tell you what I know. First off I met Steve Pastorino (and kids) here. Nice fellow, I don't think I could be as focused on the team with kids like that, but he did well. Of course he asked me why I was a SLC fan. As usual I answered by saying we don't have much restrictions here in Florida as to who is our fav team. Ok, so Quakes played a full compliment. Waibel, Dayak, Ching, Moreno, Onstad, the whole bunch. RSL had the regular preseason starters, with no Pope, Mathis or Rojas on the pitch. The Second half had most of the reserves for both squads. I like Steven Rhyne, but Luke Kreamalmayer steals the show. Jamie Watson and Kevin Novakl also played well. I was impressed with Sergio Flores who played out of position as a defender against Alejeandro Moreno, Quakes probable starter from the Galaxy. This was much more balanced game then the DC game. Unless DC is just the bomb this year, I think that RSL is starting to get into its groove. Any questions?

Yeah, what did Ara do to get ejected so quickly? And how come I haven't seen any creative ideas for signs relating to Kreamalmayer?? Would be a shame to waste a name like that.

I didn't see Ara's first offense, but he basically jumped a SJ midfielder to get the second. I think he is tense from the DC match.
As for Luke, besides the obvious Force/Star Wars comments that my wife has already told me sound stupid :o , I think Czar Jake already termed the nick name "KrispyKream" as in the doughnuts. My wife approves. :D Luke is awesome BTW, I am very glad that RSL has him.

What's the deal with Rojas? Was he there? I haven't heard that he's played any for the team. Has he actually joined the team or are they still working to bring him over?

He’s having work visa problems. He won’t arrive for a few weeks probably.

Well Marlon Rojas is not with the team yet. Last time I heard anything, James Edwards said that Rojas was scheduled to be there on Saturday. Don't know, I guess Arelius knows more about it.
