Natural position. Why on earth is Ellinger playing him there then? I thought he liked to play guys out of position...

Atiba sucked it up so bad against Colorado. I hated him during that game. I honestly hope he doesn't play (at midfield, at least). Just let Talley, Klein and Ballouchy run the midfield while serving Kreis and Cunningham. Jeff can bring the RMC home.

Anyone else find it interesting that our "best right wing midfielder ever" Chris Klein hasn't done much, especially compared to Talley? Is Talley having an extraordinary year thus far? I sure didn't like him in defense, but he's working out great in his "natural position"...

I wasn't particularly impressed with the Talley @ dMid stuff during the Colorado game two weeks ago. But it's often easier to notice the good stuff from the attackers and the really bad stuff from the defenders than it is to notice the mediocre or good stuff from the defenders.

The Bouna Coundoul experiment presumably ended last weekend with Chivas USA's 4-1 victory over the Jekyll and Mile High club. Joe Cannon should create the confidence that Coundoul's shaky handling did not amongst the Colorado defenders, though the quality of the defending must improve for the Rapids to take all three points.

Quality can't really improve at Salt Lake, where John Ellinger's club has strung together a series of results to lift themselves back into the Western Conference reckoning. To the surprise of no one, Jeff Cunningham scored two goals last weekend to lift RSL over Chicago. Ellinger is succeeding with a relatively untested team that has shown the necessary grit and determination. If you haven't seen him yet, rookie Mehdi Ballouchy is worth taking a few minutes to study closely in the playmaking role.

Key factor: Colorado's offense, specifically through the pace of Jacob Peterson, needs to stretch the Real Salt Lake backline to create pressure on Scott Garlick.

I'm sorry, my ignorance is less than unforgiveable. :down: I thought that Klein had 2 assists. He has 4, and 1 goal which means he actually has 6 points, 1 more than Talley.

Lineups won't be accurate, as someone said previously, they're guesses. They actually asked media to stop publishing possible lineups because the players thought we were giving other teams the advantage.

We have not lost a game since they asked. Coincidence, probably, but still.
