I agree, this game wasn't very fun to watch. The Rapids put pressure on us all night long, and for the entire first half we couldn't do jack. 2nd half was better as we seemed to do better on possession, but still couldn't organize an effective attack. All of our shots were essentially garbage shots (like the one Niko scored on). The two shots that were closest were the only one's I was impressed with.

I also wasn't impressed with Klein AT ALL! His corners sucked, and he didn't seem to have any type of impact on the game. In fact, I don't remember him ever getting a cross off! Perhaps this was due to the strategy of the Rapids at marking him tightly.

It also looked like the ball was bouncing very strangely all night long. Normally RSL can anticipate the bounce, but this ball was all over the place. Not sure why.

At least I remember again what it feels like to lose. It sucks.

Well, at least Nik played. 😉 It was good to see young guys in there getting experience. I was also excited to see Nolly, our young guys need experience or they won't ever be good. :signrocko

That was a dismal showing for the boys... and I found my frustration growing throughout!

after watching two fun World Cup matches, it was difficult to watch. It would have been anyway, but watching high level soccer than watching our lads stink up the pitch.... it was night and day.

where was Kreis? Did he play?

It was fun watching mathis marking the official again. I love it when he does that.

that Torres exit really disorganized our lads and allowed Colorao (that was how is was printed during the match....I love rocket science) that one shot they needed.

Talley has been really fun to watch this year. He's playing how I expected Klein to play.

I wonder if Cunny is tired. "Hey Cunningham, here's a long ball, go chase it"

Why did the offsides cut down at half (because that line official in the first half couldn't change sides....what a douche).

Jay....um....unless you're Hakeem.....don't try and jump for those high ones, okay.

Hey it's Nik......Hey there wen't nick....um....

Rewatching Germany play at half time.....not very smart if you intend to watch the second half of the bunker friendly Colorao.

My nickname/chant for our man in the cast: Hell boy!

wow, I haven't missed this feeling over the last month.

The only fun thing about the match was irritating all the crapids fans sitting around us. I'm here in Denver with my soccer team at a tournament and we all went to support the boys... and annoyed the heck out of plenty of crapids fans. Thank goodness we dont have cheerleaders is all i have to say. And let's make sure Leo stays out of the way during the game (unlike that jolly blue giant). It was sweet to see some loyalists and other RSL supporters besides us! we tried getting some chants going but some guy with one of those lame horns wouldnt shut up.
Anyways I wish RSL would have played better tonight and came out with AT LEAST a tie. I was quite disappointed in how they played. Argh!!

The Nolly and Besagno subs made no sense to me. Who gets subbed in 20 minutes in then subbed out the last 20 minutes??? Was Nik hurt? Otherwise I wonder if this means Besagno is a bust? 🙁

And agreed, hard to watch cRapid ball after 2 nice WC matches.

Based on the fact that Nik got subbed out for Ryan Johnson, I think Nik simply came out because we needed more strikers and goal scorers on the field. Nik came out because he's the rookie. I don't tink we have anything to worry about as far as him being a bust.

RSL continue their search for win #2 on the road. In a year and a half the only road win is against an imploding Galaxy team.

Didn’t see Kreis once in the first half. I think he’s more effective in midfield, especially after his most recent injury.

A super-human save by Joe Cannon keeps RSL off the scoreboard.

Besagno didn’t have his best game.

Did Ryan Johnson do anything? Nothing but a weak header.

Where’s Atiba?

Wow. Klein was in behind the defense and can’t do anything with it.

But who gets subbed in and subbed out in the same match?

My point is if RJ comes in, why not take Forko, Akwari or Novak? I realize some of them have midfielder skills(isn't Nik listed as a mid?), but they got to be more tired near the 80th minute than a 17(?) year old subbed in Besagno...
