That is what I see when I read that.

I think that the situation is certainly on tenterhooks and an apparent ultimatum will not help the situation... So I suppose that we will do what we can and hope for the best... but if the 11th is the end of the debate then I hope people have other plans for their summer Saturday nights in future because as much as i hope this all works out for us I am not ready to pin the entire future of the team and soccer in Utah on the July 11th vote...

Sorry if I don't share your optimism on the chances of getting this thing through on the eleventh.

I certainly hope I am wrong... but the track record so far has not left me brimming over with confidence...
But don't misunderstand my position... I have not given up... I am just a little cautious with my optimism and i am certainly not ready to start weilding ultimatums...

Seems like some letters to the editor are in order this week to try to sway a bit more of the public in favor of this proposal. Not that Deseret News would publish a pro-stadium bit, but it's worth a shot.
