July 11th may indeed be doable for me. Someone tell me the time so that I can get it in my calendare so that I don't schedule something important there.

I don't know what time honestly...
They just kept saying that July 11th would be the next meeting and to look for a decision then.

Every once in a while something on these boards makes you laugh out loud a big belly laugh.
More often than not, it comes from bordelais7. Thanks Bordy.

I know burninator. I couldn't make it because most of my vacation is done as is my sick time....

that being said...

I'm not coming on the board saying "had I known" and "if only"

either go, or don't go. But don't get on the board and say "shoulda, woulda, coulda."

sidenote: if you think there will be a lot of fans there...go anyway.

Are you sure... I like getting on the boards and saying "coulda, woulda, shoulda. (read as: I am going to do everything in my power to be there on the 11th though. With this much notice I should be able to schedule contractual obligations to make it possible.) :signrocko

"shoulda, woulda, coulda" = past tense.

shall, will, can = present/future tense. I will be there, I shall be there, I can be there...

then be there. If you can't make it or decide not to come, don't come here telling me your intentions. That's all I'm trying to say.

To me, talk has become cheap on these boards.

And your point? Isn't that the very definition of these places? At least that's been my experience...

My point: Don't come here the day after saying, "I should have been there" and then martyr your cause on why it's hard to get there.

Go or don't go, but don't come here telling us why it's hard for you to get there.

1. I didn't come here to tell you anything. I don't tell you what to post and I not going to change to please you.

2. Yes, if it cost a lot to post here, most of us wouldn't do it. If season tickets came cheap, I'd probably attend more of the games.

3. I don't go to the games. I don't attend watch parties. I sit at home watching RSL on DK with my husband. I come on the forums to discuss the team I love. I'm a lazy fan, not a Super Supporter, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it. If this version of supporter isn't to your tastes, I couldn't care less. You can ostracize other RSL fans or encourage them to keep loving the team, whatever flavor of support they give.

"Gentlemen and Ladies! There is no fighting in the War Room"

For people who have a hard time obtaining Kitchen Passes to go to county council meetings, we could write snail-mail type letters.

Which address should we write too? I am too lazy to Google it up.

No, I am not going to go all Libertarian and write a letter saying this is a bad idea. This deal seems to be as good as we are going to get. (When I saw "we", I'm referring to taxpayers.)

Besides, The Realm's shops/restaurants seem like they will be a good place to stop & get a bagel on the way to Snowbird.
