I fully expected the place to be packed to the brim with RSLers. I thought just one more person would hardly be seen. I'm awesomely optimistic when it comes to soccer apparently. So, anyway, that's the truth. And given the 90 minutes of driving + babysitting favors + gas prices + my whole family is sick ...

I'll try to make it next time if I can, if we hear about a similar opportunity.

Again, saying this (now two) days later means little. I've come to expect very little from RSL fans unless it's from a computer terminal to stuff a goal of the week vote.

that's just coming from experience.

I did the babysitting favors, 90 minutes of driving, paid the gas, AND got snubbed by complete ***** for putting an RSL scarf around my neck. It was all well worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Every SINGLE fan can make a difference.

I just want to know how you guys keep getting out of work. Is your company hiring? 🙂

If my computer terminal were located in Utah right now, I would have been there.

Self employed gives me some flexibility... however, right now my contract is in California.

What time is the meeting on the 11th?

The Coventry City game is going to be the same day.

Some of us have extra mouths to feed, man. Some of us have school. Some of us just don't have the time to make RSL the center of our lives.

There are more important things than soccer. Not many, but there are.

Let us do the best we can, while you focus on doing the best you can.
