You are absolutely right about this. Zidane made a dumbass decision to do it then and get himself thrown out. What a tragic end to a brilliant career.

Another question I have is why didn't Zidane use his fists instead of his head? Is that somehow less offensive to use your head?

He couldn't use his right arm...hurt his shoulder earlier in the game...

All the more reason to go studs up into Materazzi's larynx. I wanted Italian blood...revenge for McBride's stitches n all. Oh well. I'll take an Italian going down on a hard hit over an Italian diver any day.

Funny when I put L'Italie Suce back in and translate it back into Italian from French it says "Yes we may suck but you lost..."
