Another RSL FO Blunder

When my mother was pregnant with me they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later they discovered that I had reabsorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

Did he get replaced by Bill Riley? I tried listening to him this morning but only heard the fox sports show.

What on earth is going on?

700 AM has been notorious at firing people with no warning and for very little reason. I used to love Jon Wright in the mornings but just one day, he was just suddenly missing. I emailed the station manager at the time, my only response was that he didn't fit in with the long term goals of the station. Pretty stupid, those fox guys honestly suck. But then, when you understand who runs the station, it just seems to somehow make sense.

What does this have to do with RSL soccer again?

And are Ute fans that petty that they won't support a soccer team because a radio station fired the pbp guy? (After visiting the Utes fan board once I doubt that many of them were willing to give soccer a shot anyway.) If that is the case, I doubt many of them would have stuck around for long anyway. They would have been gone at the first perceived slight that they felt. Probably something along the lines of this which really has absolutely nothing at all to do with RSL soccer at all. I know I didn't see any mention of RSL in the part you quoted wherever it came from (I'm assuming the Ute boards).

This whole discussion probably belongs on the Ute boards anyway since it is about Ute football, not RSL soccer.

Aero, the only reason I bring this up here is I have worked the last 1.5 years bringing more ute fans to RSL matches. I've been slowly winning them over.

Who do you think buys the cheep tickets for the MLS Fans contest?

All that work just went out the window once was attached to the decision.

Oh, and sports fans as a whole are petty. I know a lot of fans who won't go to matches until Ellinger is gone. so yes, fans are petty.

Like I said, if they are that petty and fickle, they would have found some other excuse not to come. Probably the lines on their football field or something. If they are interested in soccer at all, this shouldn't have any affect on their support of RSL.

Besides, I doubt the average Ute fan even knows that Dean Howes is associated with RSL. In fact, I doubt the average RSL fan even knows who Dean Howes is. Of course when someone comes along and connects the dots for all the people that didn't know...

The only dot connecting was, "Please email " That isn't too hard.

if it was , or , then maybe it might have taken them a little more time to figure out. After all, most of them are college educated.

You're right though, this probably shouldn't be posted here, but it does continue to show how RSL is run. Thank goodness I can cheer for the guys on the field.
