It was great to hear today that Hunt found some local owners. I think KC is a decent market. Hopefully haveing local owners that can better focus on the team and on the nuances of the town can get the franchise to work out.

I think its great that KC has new local owners, but as of right now everything still hinges on building a new SSS, which still must pass a public VOTE for $75 million (just for land and infrastructure).
I keep telling KC fans that this is a big deal, and remind them of RSL's troubles (and that was with a council vote, not public). Also, with Arrowhead under construction next year, the Wizards will be playing at some modified HS football stadium in 2007. | |||||
