JetBlue as a sponsor may be a long shot. They are not in good shape at the moment.
In 2005 they lost $20 million. That is not surprising though seeing as 2005 was terrible for airlines, Delta and Northwest both went into bankrupcy and everyone else lost money except for Southwest Airlines. 2006 though is shaping up to be pretty good for some airlines, except JetBlue is still having problems. So far this year they have lost $18.5 million and the 4th quarter is usually a loosing quarter so they are going to be hurting again. Compare that though to American, Continental, United, US Airways, and of course Southwest Airlines who all are projecting to make a profit this year. I'm not sure if they could justify to their shareholders spending a half a million dollars to sponsor a soccer team.

According to RSL and THE blog, http://www.rsldeuce.blogspot.com, RSL will announce their jersey sponsor today at 3pm MST via the AP.
The Wall Street Journal will have an article on it tomorrow in the paper. There will also be a press conference tomorrow at 1pm. Enjoy! Chicken any one? 😉

I looked at that too and thought, "What the hell?" But it looks like they are having a convention tomorrow with Xango distributors and I guess they expect 10,000 of them there. Why does Xango make me think of Scientology?

Looks like I better go out and reposition my satellite dish for the feed so I can watch it. :P

Could it be the overwrought claims of healing of myriad afflictions from the consumption of it? Could it be the multi-level marketing of it? Could it be that it actually tastes like a$$, but because of the medicinal claims some folks claim it tastes good? (Maybe it does, compared to Vicks). :wine:

OK best case scenario is this
Xango accidentally adds 3 zeroes to the sponsorship check they write to RSL, they go broke, the snake oil peddlers that started the company grow a soul and decide to not start another random miracle healing company, the Tahitian Noni building burns down, leaving me free to corner the Utah health drink market as I expose the wonderful health benefits of drinking elephant snot. __________________
