It wouldn't do us any good. Like I said, the team has no control over the goons. Not until we get our own stadium. But come sit with us anyway. I'll slip you my ticket stub if need be.

If the team doesn't have any control, then why is Jessica Edstrom endorsing the idea? I'd hate to spend time doing flyers and handing them out -- thinking that I have every right to do so -- only to be told by stadium management that I wasted my time. You see what my concern is? If it's not being done the right way and through the proper channels, I don't want to waste time doing it, and I certainly don't want to get other people in trouble for following bordy the misled pied piper of E32. With members already leaving to be in the North endzone, and without any real official support from management, why the insistence on staying in E32?

My wife and I moved our tickets from the North Endzone to E32 this year, plus purchased a Flex Package in E32 as well. We joined the Loyalists last year for every game and was not once asked for our ticket stub. I hope we have a big crowd in E32...we'll be there cheering bordy.
I don't know why the seat nazi's have to be so picky with the Loyalist or RCB sections. If anyone is crazy enough (which I am) to want to sit there they shouldn't bug them. The only time I saw a problem was when people purchased tickets to sit in E32 and didn't know that the section was loud and people stand throughout the entire game. That is a communication problem at the ticket booth. __________________

I, like RSL Fan, have never seen any problem from people moving from another section to ours. I've pulled that move plenty myself.
I understand your worry, though, Bordy. That's why I make sure to let everyone know that the FO can't really guarantee that there won't be problems. Maybe you should wait til next year, when the new stadium opens. I'll keep bugging Jessica to find out exactly what the deal is.

Speaking of next year, some may think this is jumping the gun alittle but I think if we don't work with the FO soon we may run into problems.
Where will the supporter sections be in the new stadium? That needs to be decided I think fairly quickly, or at least before they start selling season tickets for the new stadium. Behind South goal? In the South West corner? Or maybe even in the upper deck.

This is the reason I bring next season's seats up now.
You have to figure that every game is going to come close to selling out if there is going to be between 20k-22k seats. (Once the team gets winning and we are battling for league supremecy I think attendance is going to go through the roof) If games are selling out we need to have a special place set aside for standing only fans. We all know how pissed people get when they come into E32 and discover we won't be sitting down throughout the whole game. Now, in RES it hasn't been a problem because there are always better seats these sitting fans can move to. That is going to be a problem in the new stadium. So we need to have a section small enough to house the standing fans so that the FO doesn't feel like they are loosing out on money if they deny sitting fans seats in those sections. The renderings of the new stadium can be hard to figure out exactly what the lay out of the seats are going to be. But to me it looks like the only sections that may work will be the South West corner thanks to those funky "cut out lanes" that are running from the endline down the sideline, directly behind the south goal, or down at one of the ends of the upper deck. The upper deck may not be bad when you think about it. Good view of the entire playing field. The hanging of banners would take on a whole new meaning. The throwing of streamers down on the lower seats could be fun too. Last edited by the cup : 02-15-2007 at 10:20 PM.

Ok, when you look at the second above rendering you have to figure all of the sidelines and the north end are going to be off limits to us. The sidelines because the prices are going to be so high I and most supporters (supporters = cheap fans with no money) won't buy seats there anyway and the entire north end is going to fill up like it does now with kids going to the games with their AYSO soccer teams.
That would leave us the upper deck and the south end. I'd be interested to know if the upper deck seats will high or low priced. If they are low priced they would be sweet. However they may be just as high priced as the sidelines. That would leave us with the south end. Now, the rendering is alittle bizarre. It looks like at field level on the south end there are not any seats. Its a dark color like the rest of the area with seats but it appears to not have any rows and is flat. Could this be were the stage for concerts is? I don't know. Then there are seats up above the south goal sandwiched between two structures. These sections apear to be small sections. Could this be where the FO has always planned on having the supporter sections? And I say sections with the letter "s" due to I've always thought that once the stadium gets built the Loyalists and the RCB are going to have to be in the same general area. Again, I don't think the FO is going to let two supporter groups take up two entirely different areas of the stadium. And when I say "take up" I say that becuase you have to count on the FO not selling any tickets in those sections. These are all things we need to think about and soon.
