First off, I watched all the trailer's and they were funny! I think we all know the proverbial direct sells agent and many of them have the same characteristics. But this goes for any comey movie they play with generalities and more importantly extremes! They are in the business of entertaining, if you want an accurate picture of direct sells you should try a documentary. Now let's dissect each of your questions. Q: Did you know that you are more likely to make money in Las Vegas than you are to make money in MLM. A: Did you know this sentence should've ended with a question mark? Regardless, where are you getting your facts on this? I can make up a random stat too: Did you know that the likelihood of a person using incorrect punctuation is 90% more likely to give a false statement or blow it out of proportion? Q: Did you know that the attrition rate for people in MLM is 70% in the first year, 90% in the first 3 years? Did you know that the average person in Quixtar makes a whopping $1400 per year (comes from their own financial statements)? A: This is a very easy question to answer. The reason why these unsupported numbers are so high is because we are dealing with entrepreneurship. These people are creating a business and we all know the failure rate for starting a business is 90% for the first year and of the surviving 10%, 90% of those will die out in 5 years. Hmmm, MLM people seem to be beating the "norm." Source: http://www.usatoday.com/money/smallbusiness/columnist/abrams/2004-05-06-success_x.htm Q: Do you know anyone that has actually made a profit in MLM? Yes, and I guarantee they're making three-fold more than you. Q: When you take in all that they spend on trips and tapes and product it is very rare that anyone makes a profit. I have many friends who are or were in MLM. Guess what...none of them are making or have ever made a profit. But guess what, I know electricians, clerks, secretaries, even janitors that work hard and come out with a profit at the end of the year. A: You must be one of those people that does your own taxes. Oh, and you probably use the 1040EZ form. Well, if you owned a business like MLM people do, you can itemize your taxes! This means you can write those off....Yes, you can write those off! This means the trip was free! And guess what, all those tapes and other things are tax write offs too! You're friend must be idiots. Maybe you should try out MLMs and do them the right way before you try knocking them off. Just for the record I am in no MLM organization; however, I do own a real estate investing company and I understand that owning a business is a whole other world of wonderful tax write-offs! Q: Is it more likely to meet the Pope than to meet someone who has made a profit in MLM....PROBABLY! A: Oh wait, you answered your own question. If you would've left it open I would have to say I'm sorry about this fact. But this is due largely because people are a part of the biggest and worst organizations on the planet by being an employee where they are the downline of their Manager, Director, and so forth. Why it's the worst is because they don't get paid what they're worth (in other words, by how well they perform). I encourage you to try starting your own business and see how well that flies after 5 years. Till then keep watching stupid movies and enjoy the commute in the morning just to arrive at work and say: Good morning Boss, what would you have me do today? :lamo:

Oh please stop the madness. This makes me long for the days of arguing over whethter true fans could call for a coach's job. This may be the stupidest attempt at "guerilla marketing" the world will ever see.
PS (Everyone knows you are the same person) PPS (Why did I take time to post this? I can't answer that) __________________

If not the thread will soon be deleted... and we can continue to discuss the merits of the old and new jerseys in a different thread. The accounts from the two spammers will be deleted. Last edited by Deuce : 03-03-2007 at 02:19 PM.

as far as not buying a jersey that has xango on it ... i think in truth we will probably all buy one ... just for the sheer fact that we will all want a jersey from 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 etc... whether or not we like the jersey doesn' come into ... well not in a lot of cases, the only thing it will affect is how soon we get that jersey

Before you throw stones I suggest that you have a look at the windows all around you and research the very film you are here to promote and the relationship that they have engaged in with Vividas (the supplier of the technology allowing streaming without downloading a programme) and the promotion companies that they are using to get the very successful results that they have with internet viewing. They have used ... yes, you guessed it ... a primitive MLM structure to promote the film.
