I like the system of this xperteleven. I think it will be fun. By the way... does anyone want to play a friendly before the season starts next week? Magyar Maelstrom is the team to beat. :p

I tried, but it won't let me invite anyone -- the button is grayed out. Perhaps because I already have a friendly scheduled w/ Fusion II?

And I noticed that one of the teams (WJ?) got a new player...I haven't been offered one by an agent yet. Is it just kind of random as to when players are offered to your team?

The rules/FAQ said that you get an offer in your mailbox from an agent every couple of weeks. I think WJ got a younger (18?) player and those come every three weeks or so. Apparently some of the agents are liars and their evaluations of the players are off. The rule book said the designers did that on purpose. Anyhow.

I haven't got any offers yet but I have looked at transferring someone in for my crummy forwards.

<in my best Nelson voice>Ha ha,</Nelson>

The offer just showed up in my mailbox. He came up through the ranks of my junior program. He's a local kid with some good skills. They are raw, but I think that with a little work he may be a great player someday.

I can postpone the league for 1 week to allow Old Ska to join, and that will make an even number so that no one has to bye.

What do you think?

I don't think suspending the league did what I was hoping. It simply locked down for the week so that no one can do anything, but it doesn't look like we can add anyone else.

Should we start a new league or keep going? Any ideas?
