Anyone else want Kasey Keller? If there is any truth to this story (and seeing as its SI, they probably don't just make this stuff up), I can't believe this thinking.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/jonah_freedman/04/19/keller.rsl/index.html I think Nick Rimando is a wonderful keeper, happy to have him. But even he couldn't possibly think that he is better, or even on par with, Kasey Keller. RSL should MAKE this happen, even if they have to trade people on the team that I am a HUGE fan of. Keller would put RSL on a completely different level.

Wow... thats crazy! I haven't seen enough of Rimando with our guys to know how I really feel about him, but having Keller would be fantastic! RSL should make that deal not only for the obvious reasons, but for the long term benefits too.

I was in the LA Coliseum when Keller shut out Brazil. So you'd figure that I'd say to bring him in.
But first, I'd want to know how much we are paying him. I think we'll know more about how much we like Rimando after he faces Guevara and Goats Lite.

This seems like such a dumb question now.
So who was more at fault Rimando or Stewart? I think Ellinger needs to get a dog tie down for Rimando. In the box he is ok, but he wanders too much. Who knows what Stewart is thinking. __________________

I think Ellinger needs to get on a plane for anywhere but Salt Lake City and never EVER come back.

Oh my god is our FO brain dead? I mean come on..... Kasey Keller at RSL? Gosh dang it (my other word was edited)...get rid of Ellinger and the decision makers in the FO and throw in Kreis, Tejada and a few other guys for all I care. I mean really this is a no brainer. No money? Thats BS! We get Keller, we win and we sell a ton more tickets...and no one can tell me that Checketts cant come up with a few more hundred thousand.... This is just stupid, I cant even believe we hesitated.
Being a RSL fan is REALLY frustrating!

So, what you're saying is who cares if we score as long as they don't score? Hmm... Sounds like a boring season. __________________

Seriously Tay? You would prefer to see RSL light up the scoreboard than win with good tactical soccer? That would be boring? Don't get me wrong, the likelihood of ever seeing good tactical soccer with Ellinger at the helm seems to be racing downhill, but the idea of having a few wins and a bunch of 0-0 ties is more than acceptable in my book. Teams ought not to be able to score 4 goals in a game...if they do, it should be apparent the other team is woefully outmatched all over the field. Watching RSL give up cheap goals is far more frustrating than scoring a brace will ever manage to compensate for. Our inability to defend effectively and deny other teams posession borders on criminal.
