Eillinger (Not a fire thread) Last night, or should I say this morning, I watched the debacle we call a team and after the match the camera was on Ellinger and he was looking into the stands and you could, quite clearly, see him say, "you guys are F*&(ing A$$holes." Does anyone know who he was saying that to, and why?
I've got to assume he didn't like the criticism he and the team received after the game. We have every right to demand more from a team that presents itself as professional. though we had our chances last night, the loss was unacceptable. Boo to Ellinger and Boo to the FO.

Inexcusable and unprofessional behavior no matter what was said or even thrown at him. Hey John, you want the chants for you to be sacked to end, then win ONE league match.

Exactly. If you don't want the criticism don't take the job. We as fans pay his salary and if he can't take criticism from his boss, maybe he shouldn't have the job. Totally unprofessional Ellinger.

It is rumored on Big Soccer that he was hit by a coke cup thrown from the stands.

Not a rumor His reaction was to someone who tossed their coke (not the cup) on him after the match. I do not blame him for reacting that way, throwing things at the pitch, players or coaches is unacceptable behavior. Just ask the kid who threw the water bottle at pablo and then tried to hid in the RCB section, if you got the balls to try to injure someone, have the balls to stand up to it when your caught. Better yet, don't do it.

I've talked at great length about the wrongs of throwing items onto the pitch or at other people, but someone with the team (player, coach, manager, etc.) simply cannot resort to using inappropriate language that was heard not only by the person who threw the item, but many others.
