This is the thing that has always bothered me. When I see our guys getting tired at home, before the opposing team, when they come from Sea Level or close to it, that is just stupid. There is no excuse. I remember when I went from Oregon to Colorado, I had a hard time doing anything for about two weeks. It took me that long to become acclimatized. So how is it that visiting teams can play for 90 minutes, but our team, which practices here, can't? CONDITIONNING!!!!!!!!! These are professionals, they should do whatever they need to do to be in shape for the match. I beleive that Coach Kreis will help them see the benefits of that. __________________

As an athlete, we have very little time for conditioning. My coaches have always been more concerned with skills/plays/other more important things than conditioning. We were expected to run 2 miles on our own a week, usually on a saturday or sunday. It's not like the team doesn't have time, they have work for how many hours a day? Professional athletes should make time to be fit, it's their job to be.

JE's practices were often not as long as a game. At least making practice an intense 2 to 2.5 hours of work will go a long ways towards making the players match-fit. | |||||

Also, in the practices that I witnessed, the players seemed to be loafing a little, or at least not working too hard. I imagine that Kreis will put a stop to that, as well. :hammer: __________________
