MLS Fruit Snacks!

So I was trying to keep up with my wife at the grocery store the other night when some soccer related packaging caught my eye. What did I see? MLS brand fruit snacks. Before that day I hated fruit snacks, never found them a very valuable food source. But, at this moment in time I just opened my little packet of soccer shaped gooey thins with Freddy Adu on the baggy. There are even little snacks shaped in the MLS logo.

The Captain Of The 2023 WWC Champions reports that the Carlos Ruiz fruit snacks taste the best.

So when are they going to come out with Clint Mathis Jim Beam-flavored snacks?

being a southerner, Clint will have a BBQ sauce first.

We saw these snacks too, but the future captain of the US Womens World Cup team is allergic to them. Darn.

Unless he's a REAL southerner in which case he will have a rub because everyone knows that real BBQ doesn't have sauce on it. :D

Last time I checked, Mathis was from Georgia. Its in the sauce my friend!

They only use rubs in Oklahoma. :D

Ouch. You cut me deep. I know it's hard for someone from FL to understand BBQ but if you have to put sauce on it, it's not worth eating. 😎 A nice rub and about 18 hours in a smoker is about all you need. Mesquite is preferable but Hickory is fine now and then.

The only thing the OK knows about BBQ is what they learn from Texans anyway. And seeing how BBQ was pretty much invented in Texas, that ain't bad.

Also, hot dogs and sauced chicken don't count as BBQ. :D

You can mock Florida all you want, but I guarantee if you asked Mathis which BBQ he would prefer, he would agree with me. 😉
So there!

I only mock because I care. (And used to live there)
