Thanks, Arelius.

That score is not a surprise.

But the really big news would be if this match is tape-delayed on Telemundo.

Given the Goats' popularity, I have to imagine that this match would generate more interest than RSL-Crew.

Any indications that this will be on TV in the future?

1-1. You can go ahead and write that score down. Bordelais7 has spoken.

Hopefully y'all wrote in pencil.

Not a surprising score. Hey, it's preseason. I think RSL is definitely better than Chivas and I wouldn't be surprised to see at least 3 wins against them this year.

Recap says Chivas scored their second goal in the 91st minute... I guess it was looking like an RSL win up until the last moment.

Congrats to our favorite rookie, Jamie, of Jamie's Journal fame. We should shower him with praise in his email and let him know the Loyalists are paying attention. :D

I like to hear about that patented Rusty Pierce toughness. :D

Sounds like we struggled tactically until the second half, so this was probably a good learning experience for everyone involved, including Coach E who was able to get a good look at what Seedy Cheetos could throw out there.

I hate hate hate giving up goals like that in injury time playing bunker-down defense. Hopefully that's the last of those we'll see for awhile.

"I personally don't think they should have been in the game," Torres said. "I thought we were playing better than them in the first half. The second half we let down a little but it's because we've been working hard, double days every day ...

Yeah, cause obviously RSL *hasn't* been working hard at all in practice. What an attitude. And if you thought they shouldn't have been in the game, then why was the final score a tie? Glad you're on the OTHER team.

The Goats still had Torres & Suarez on in the 2nd half. I think that Cuadros might also be a starter. The only guy we had on in the 2nd half who might be a starter is Halilovic?

At the end of the first half, Rusty Pierce was booked for a hard tackle on Chivas USA's Matt Taylor. Pierce barked at the referee and angrily said that Taylor was diving. On Chivas USA's next possession, Pierce knocked Taylor down when chasing a loose ball but no foul was called. Taylor stood up and knocked Pierce down from behind and was sent off.

Bwa ha ha ha! I love it!

Matt Taylor's head. Population: Rusty Pierce

Jamie Watson "muscling" past Ryan Suarez? Wow!
