USA - Guatemala Post Game [R]

On a side note, Ruiz was given his second yellow card last night, so he will miss the Guatemala vs. Mexico game. Guess when? June 4. Guess what else happens that day? FC Dallas plays RSL in SLC. Thus Ruiz will be there and maybe Eddie Johnson will be play a Beasley (doubtful). Not good from a RSL POV, but at least SLC fans will see the Fish.

I finished watching the game last night (I taped it, obviously), and I was very impressed with Ralston and Lewis on the flanks. I've liked Ralston for a long time, so I was really happy to see him get in the USMNT mix.

Between Ruiz and Cabrera, I thought I was watching a highlight tape from the Razzies... 😉

That referee was smoking some serious crack! Regardless of whether Ralston was actually onside for the second goal, it totally makes up for the no-call on the handball in the penalty box and the Donovan "offside"...

And I really, really enjoy Marcelo Balboa as a commentator. He brings a player's mentality to the game but you don't feel completely overwhelmed by his personality (unlike some other individuals who shall not be named *cough*waldo*cough*).
