I'll call them and see what they say just to check it out.

Let me know if you need me to call anywhere Aero. I will do as much as I can!

I am NOT watching the first game ever on a tiny little screen surrounded by the idols of the basketball gods. I'd rather sit at home and watch with my own little group of people. I hope we find something a little better for this event.

I just called them and they said that they would have it on one of the small tvs in the main area with the Final 4 on the big screen and they couldn't guarantee us any space at all. The Final 4 will be on all of the other tvs in outlying areas. So, we would have to fight for space with the people wanting to watch the Final 4 on the big screen. The Iggy's downtown is probably out.

Duece, do you want to call the one in Sandy and I'll call the one in Jordan Landing?

I've just heard that our VP, Dave aka dysko is currently trying to find a place.
I say continue your search, but perhaps ask the places your calling if anyone else has called them about a RSL viewing party.

Keep up the good work!

The Iggy's in Jordan Landing is probably out too. They are going to have basketball on the big screen. He said that he would put it on the small screen for us, but I don't think that there is enough room at that bar for all of us to watch it comfortably.

I would suggest that we could watch it at my place. I have a fairly big room with a big tv in my basement, but I don't think that it would hold anywhere close to 20 comfortably. I could probably host a smaller group if worse comes to worse. I just thought I'd throw that out there for people to consider.

Nahhh! Let them think that there are just tons of different groups looking for space. Then they'll start to think soccer is.. you know... not weird!

I'd be happy to host all the Utah Countyites on my small TV (at least I have a big house, sort of...) but I thought we all wanted to meet together for a Loyalists meeting, too. That's my only hang up.

Just spoke with Greg, a manager at Iggy's Sandy, he says that if we can get the go ahead from the General Manager we can have one of the big screens and a section of our own for 20-30 peeps from 5pm - 9 pm on Saturday.

I have to follow up with the GM tomorrow between 2:30-4:30.

That was my hang-up about suggesting it too. It would definitely be better if we could get someplace we could all meet. I only through out my place as a last resort in case we can't find somewhere for those not wanting to watch the game alone or on a small tv.
