The sky is not falling yet, but seriously...

After the bad game on Saturday I am not saying our team sucks, but I think its a good time for RSL to look at some International possibilties. We still have 4 international picks left. Sure our allocation order sucks, but that didn't stop LA from getting Donovan.
I was more impressed Saturday with the Central/South American players that LA had than Donovan. I am a USMNT fan, I knew Donovan was good.
We need some Latin flavor in our team too (lets forget about Brenes and Scott).

BTW anyone notice who scored the tying goal at the end of the Chivas/SJ game? Douglas Sequira (who was a RSLer for about 2 minutes).

Correct me if I'm wrong but we don't even HAVE an allocation. We traded all of them besides the one used on Mathis. So, we could get an SI but it would need to be someone the FO would "discover" and couldn't be a high-profile player that would require the use of an allocation.

On another note...

We all knew it was going to be VERY hard to beat LA last weekend. Landon had something to prove and I'm sure wanted to silence all the haters. The Gals had just come off an embararing defeat and had the chance to avenge themselves in their home opener. Furthermore, they have a really decent team. We're going to have bad games and we're going to catch other teams when they're playing really well. Just the name of the game.

Good news for us though... We now get to avenge our loss by beating the cRapids in OUR home opener!

Yes yes, as I stated, I don't think our team is broken. But I am concerned now, as I was before we started this season, that we didn't have enough skilled bench players.
We still have many Int'l picks and yes, as I said, we don't have an allocation and also, as I said, LA was down the list but some how magically bumped up to get Donovan.
Maybe its time for Ellinger and Pastorino to do some scouting (imagine that).

Oh I'd be very surprised if Ellinger wasn't already doing that. In fact he even stated that he was looking at someone recently. It didn't go through, but it shows that he is looking.

Also, I think that at least part of our problem is conditionning. I think our guys ran out of steam about half-way through the second half.
