Did Eddie Johnson take a dive and fake injury? Dallas News seems to say that he did and Eddie Pope got the red card. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcon...s.3f5cd09e.html username : nobody12b [at] home.com password : nobody

He sure seemed to recover quickly, didn't he? I'm sure Eddie and the rest of RSL will remember it when FCD comes to visit on June 4th. Except on that day they'll likey be teammates on the USMNT! Gotta love the irony. Anyone else developing a severe dislike for Dallas' Diving Duo?

I think we could safely say that, yes. He was a real pain in the ...uh...lower neck. 😉 __________________

After waking up on Saturday morning and seeing the SADDEST PICTURE EVER in the Tribune, I knew it was going to be a bad day. 🙁
Nobody seemed to want to play with any urgency going forward -- it was all squirrel ball in the midfield, make a bad pass, and then chase Eddie Johnson all the way back to our own goal. And is it THAT difficult to figure out that when you're playing with Jason Kreis and Dipsy Selolwane up front, playing a vertical ball right at their heads probably isn't the most brilliant way to attack? Argh. And I'm not even going to address the FAKE FAKE FAKE red card. Still very, very bitter about that. Oh well. There's always this Saturday, right?

The big worries from last Saturday’s game were:
Rojas. The boy was beaten time and again. O’Brien and Kreamy: I continue to believe that neither of these guys is quite at the level of MLS. Kreis: He is invisible for large parts of the game. Not getting service and when he does doesn’t have anyone to work with. Dipsy: Great finisher but not hooking up well with Kreisy. Let’s hope Williams makes a difference when we returns. My suggestions: Give Seth Trembley a chance to see if he can do better than Kreamy. Get Kammy back into holding midfield. I’m sure Jordan Cila is itching to prove himself in the back. Is there anyone else who can work better with Kreis up top? Watson? MOTM for me last Saturday was Pierce (again).

Des News says that most likely Akwari will replace Pope this week. Let’s hope he has a better game than the one vs. Galaxy.
James E. speculates that Behncke might replace Rojas. That concerns me. James likes Whitfield in place of Kreamy. So do I. James also speculates that Cila may start in place of Dipsy. http://deseretnews.com/dn/print/1,1442,600129056,00.html Home game next week!!! Let’s come out in force!!! Oh, and don’t forget this Wednesday!

I think that what concerns me most is that we seem to be content either playing squirrel ball in the midfield or trying to avert the midfield altogether.
Either way, we end up giving the ball up way too much and subsequently playing too much defense, thus exploiting guys like Rojas who *should* be running forward with the ball and whipping in crosses instead of being pinned back in his own corner for half of the match.

What makes me really mad is that we rank below the cRapids! Were the playoffs to start today, we would miss out and the cRapids would be through. However, we are only 1/8 of the way through the season.
http://www.matchnight.com/mn-mls.cfm?Page=CONFTABLE But, then again, if the playoffs started today, DC United would also miss out! I guess that’s suppose to make me feel better. I will feel much better if we can start scoring some goals!!!
