The team also asked the league to look into EJ's comments. That issue is still unresolved. However, EJ called Pope and appologized for the whole incident. Someone who has known EJ since he was at Bradenton said EJ has always been less than bright.

Nik looked great... really held his own. But, I will wait untill the reserve match before I pass final judgment.

Abbreviated practice today because of the match tonight in Provo!

Will get more pics tonight and tomorrow.

Both Kamler and Williams were practicing with the team, however Fitzgerald was sitting out with the trainers today... Don't know why... I tried to get a word with him but he went to the locker room before the others came off the field.

Will see what i can find out at the match tonight!

If today's practice is any indicator of the lineup Saturday, it looks like it is going to be:

---------Countess-----------
Pierce Dunseth Behncke Akwari
-----------Kamler -----------
Brown -------------- Tiger
----------Williams------------
--------Mathis Kreis----------

if I play attack on the right for SJ, I'm licking my chops...

Actually, it might be interesting to see that. My question is, if Akwari is better suited for the outside, and Behncke is a more natural central, then why did they play reversed in the first 2 games?

Maybe the fact that they got beat a lot is a good indication why they aren't better suited to playing the other way around. Maybe this is how they are better suited to play and will do much better now. 😉

I got a really cool souvenir from practice today...
It is a soccer ball size welt on my back... Jamie Watson has a very powerful kick... He took a shot on goal and I was left standing like a deer in the headlights and at the last second came to my senses and tried to twist out of the way!
I didn't get out of the way in time...It deflected off me and nailed Aero as well so I didn't have to suffer alone! :D

It's all good... no harm no foul!

Jamie was more apologetic than he needed to be... It is all part of the fun...
Thanks Jamie! I will still be telling that story when you are a National Team star...

:D

Yeah, thanks a lot Deuce for deflecting the shot right into me. I was perfectly safe until you got in the way. :p

Um, should we even ask what you guys were doing standing right behind the goal?

And are we allowed to laugh? :D
