Bring streamers to Galaxy game

I was one step ahead of you on that but the end result was the same.
I actually bought some but forgot to bring them!

Did I miss something? I was the only one in my section that threw streamers, and I looked down the stands towards the loyalists section and never saw any. When were they thrown?

Also, I've heard there are going to be face painters at the games in the Carnival Real area, but have never seen them. Where are the face painters?!?

What section were you in? I think that we were in section 37...we are right next door to the Loyalists...we were the people with the face paint on in the front row. My boy and I were handing out streamers to most of the people who came to sit next to us, and I know that we threw a bunch. We'll certainly bring more for Wednesday...and we'll bring a color other than red, probably gold.

I brought streamers (both red and blue), ripped them into smaller sections, and handed them around as well. When the goals were scored, and I threw the streamers, I found that they looked pitiful. I later threw an entire roll of streamer instead of the parceled out pieced that I had made, and that looked good. I think we may just have to try and convince everyone to go to Wal-mart and invest the 50 cents so that we all have a full roll to throw. Someone threw the roll back my way later, and it still looked good on it's second toss. It might also be good if we have some better way of coordinating it. Like we all throw them at kick-off instead of at a goal. After a goal there are people waving flags, people playing trumpets, people strumming washboards, people banging drums, people shouting in megaphones, and that only leaves a few for throwing streamers. It would be so much cooler if we all did it in unison.

I brought eight rolls that seemed to work well. I threw all of mine towards the end of the game with about 3 or 4 minutes left when it looked like victory was ours.

I bought 4 rolls of crate paper that were 81 feet long each that only cost 50 cents. Then I took a yard stick and measured 1 yard 13 times, (39 feet, right?) and then rolled that back up. So then I came out with 8 rolls about the same length.

When I threw them it worked pretty well and a couple of them were even caught by someone else in the crowd and then launched again because not all of it had come unravelled.

Lets keep it up and see we can get even more for the Chivas game.

If you come to the Tailgates, look me up. I bring face paints to every game. Haven't had a request for them, yet. If you want face paints, I got'em. I'll try to arrive early for the Wednesday game. I'll be down in the tailgate area, just in case you want your face painted.
