Cool--they look great. And bigger is better in this case.

But what's with the fleur-de-lis? Too froggy for this red-blooded American.

Well the guy in charge up there, Fuzzy, is originally from Italy (but he's American)... I think they look great.

No doubt--great effort from the Montana guys.

Still don't get the fleur-de-lis, though. 😕

I emailed the guys in the casbah and asked them how they came by their flag. He said it was made by a place called AAA Flag in Los Angeles and cost them $1600. I think I will email him back and ask them now how they came by their $1600. I bet they had to save up dues for a few years to get it, I doubt the Quakes front office did any of the paying, considering what a mess their front office always is.

lol the fleur de lis or whatever are simply something simple that i guess reflected royalty (they were the symbol of royalty for Fiorentina, Pisa and Torino) I just thought they would add something to the banner besides the writing. Sorry if they are froggy...actually im not sorry but whatever im a Ultra'..im not supposed to ever be sorry. I laff at the losing team and spit on their jerseys<<thats what a hooligan is...I sure hope the loyalists does not beceom or is a group of families with kids. Sorry but thats how i think

Friend of mine...Jim...is making a large 12'x15' shield for us with some other flags. (i hope i can take his word for it)

The material is simple cheap fabric that you can get at any fabrics store (15$ for all the fabric you can see in the pics) and the writings were mask -taped then spray painted with gold. Simple n cheap.

Hey Fuzzy,

You didn't make a trip to Provo this weekend did you?

The Loyalists, authentic and based in Utah, want to make the sport grow and become a permanent part of life here. Talk of spitting on the opponent and ultras is not welcome. At least in The Loyalist section where I moderate.

Please check out our website where it says that The Loyalists do not tolerate hooligan, racist, vulgar, or violent behavior. You have posted elsewhere to "be men about this". You have a distorted view of what a man is and does and the freedoms that the US of A affords us. But you are correct when you say "it sent a message". That brilliant message seems to be: build me a stadium or I'll terrorize your family.

A year ago SLC was bait to get Seattle off their butts. I never dreamed we would get a team here in my generation. Please don't taint the water before we are able to convince a few people that soccer isn't what Jime Rome says it is.

I realize all this talk may just be internet shtick but I am a little jumpy from the negative press we have received the last few days. Sadly, you seem to relish it.

Rover,

I didn't think it was too much. I thought it was common sense.
