Congratulations. I got my wife to the games Saturday and she came and stood with us. She would rather do that than sit a little ways away. I probably won't get her to many more games, but my 13 year old daughter is even more hooked now. (Thanks Coach Ellinger for starting Besagno.)

Our drum line missed the extra drum. I guess I will have to pony up and get one now. Good luck on hooking your fiancee on the insanity that is The Loyalists.

Hey I brought a drum instead of the cowbell. We had the drum there, but any extra drums is always a bonus.

Not to mention next match (after wedensday) There will be 3 large cowbells...The louder the better.

I just wish the team would play better !!!

Wow! 😲 Are you supplying ear plugs for everyone so we don't all leave deaf? :D

I noticed Loyal1 had some in this match. Is that new? Either i'm getting deaf, or I'm building ear stamina because this was the first match where my ears didn't ring afterward.

Wasn't it great when the n endzone started cheering for Keller along with us. man that was fun.

You're right, I'm still at a loss for words. My new dream: Travel with RéAL (big group) and Sam's Army. I try to convey how much soccer has taken over all other sports as my personal favorite, and they just don't understand.

they've never been to a WCQ or sat with the Loyalists either.

I think it was the quietest game yet.

Reasons: it was the second game. The first match took it out of me.
Also the team stunk. It's easier to be louder when the play consist of more than passes between Akwari & Pierce.

The first game by wife watched was on TBS on our small little tv. Italia '90.
A word of advice: don't spend the day doing tourist things then roll into the Rose Bowl expecting everything to go well. If she says you're putting the "stupid" game ahead of the kids, consider that she might be right.

It took until about '01 for the full conversion but she's hard core now!

It was a cool day when she could name all 23 of the team that went to Korea.

Next we need a Loyalist spouse section.
My wife used to sit up higher at Blitzz games and listen to people say things like: "they have to be paying those nuts to do that".
