Its tearing me apart to be away from you guys. I hope you'll understand.

I'll see what I can do to support our group as best I can. Thanks for understanding.

I can relate. If you go to the July 4th game, my wife can hang out with your fiancee and they can complain about us.

Aurelius should definitely feel loved. Between us on the Where's Aurelius hunt and the recent engagement, this is a good month. Congrats, again.

My wife went to her first game last summer with the RAF. She thought it was fun, but wasn't fully converted. However, Loyalists will attest to the fact that she is way into it now. (anybody catch her ripping into the Fire fans who were being a pain on Saturday?).

But that doesn't mean that she doesn't say I need to take a little time away from soccer drom time to time.

they've never been to a WCQ or sat with the Loyalists either.
I believe the C10 is sponsoring a trip to Colorado in October when RSL claims the Rocky Mtn Cup. Maybe that could work.

As for WCQ, Aug.17 in Conneticut(T&T) and Sept.3 in Ohio (Mexico).
Plan accordingly!

And a spouse section for the Loyalists sounds like a popular idea.

Well, that just isn't true then. I have been to dozens of big matches in England. I was at Upton Park for the FA cup match of West Ham United v. Sheffield United this year. West Ham has, in my opinion, the best fans and is a really intimidating place to place and I would say that RE during the WCQ was about as loud as the Boleyn ground was for that FA cup match. For the qualifier RE was rockin'. I am sure that for a REALLY big match in England, RE on Sat. pales in comparison.

I think it is true that soccer culture and stadium behavior in general has not taken hold in Utah yet, but I think it will eventually (it will take time, most of the people in Utah go to a Church where you aren't allowed to stand and clap and sing either <g>). The majority of people don't know the most basic chants, and it really amazes me that there still people who are mad that people are standing throughout a match (I heard a lot of grumbling from behind me in E30. I think as people go to their second and third matches they will learn what to expect. I suspect that a lot of the people at each match so far this season are there for their first match, and as next season and the season after that comes around and people are more familiar with soccer matches they may wish to join in. One thing I have noticed too is that in MLS some of the other supporters clubs have a larger percentage of membership in the 17-25 years old demographic (Section 8, Midnight Riders, that DC group) which is not really well represented among the Loyalists yet from what I can tell, but which tends to add to the atmosphere a great deal. At a certain point another RSL supporter's club may arise catering specifically to that demographic (which I think would be a good thing). Also, do the Loyalists have a table or booth set up during matches for registering new members? Other supporter's groups do that as well and it is a great way to increase membership, which is a good way to increase participation.
