I would also like to see some of the youngsters start, but I'm beginning to wonder if part of our problem isn't the fact that we continue to shuffle the lineup without allowing the players any chance to really get familiar with each other. I hope that Coach finds a lineup that works soon and sticks with it as much as he can through injuries and call-ups.

Ok, just got done watching the game.

- Did anyone else think that Mathis was hustling a lot more than normal? I have to think he was the best player out there for our team. Maybe you all saw it differently, but after 5 or 6 absolutely uninspiring, terrible games from him, this was a bit refreshing. I was watching him specifically throughout the entire game, and saw a lot more energy and passion from him. Some of his passes were incredible. I caught him strolling around a couple of times, but there was a noticeable improvement. Wonder if he's finally starting to take things seriously.

- Washington can't go for more than one half. He disappeared in the second.

- Cutler and O'Brien (especially) were awful. Defensive disasters. I'm starting to think we got screwed on that deal with Seattle.

- Some of you said Kamler did great. I just didn't see it. He had a couple of nice saves, but he was out of position all night and got beat left and right. Especially in the first half. I thought Behncke was our best defender out there, and he sucked too.

- Williams and Brown. Ugh. Don't they know what wingers are supposed to do? Well, maybe not since that's not their natural position. We have so many players playing out of position that I can't help but think that it may be part of our problem. I think we strung some passes together and actually looked decent in the midfield, but did nothing that would strike any fear into the SJ defenders.

- DJ. No idea. It's hard to blame him for any of the goals, but he certainly has a habit of not making his presence known on corner kicks.

Next week's proposed lineup:

-----clarette
deuce-aero-montgjules-ska
-----hiba
stucki------prime
-----neil
scilaci-----rover

and we'll bring watson off the bench for some spark.

That team might get smoked, but I bet that they'd give every single drop of energy that they had. Even if that energy only lasted about 90 seconds. :D

I can't play goalkeeper.

I have no hand-eye coordination and I'm only 5'1".

Taking a gamble putting me on the left, but it's worth a try. I certainly have no problem running over defenders. But I'd have to actually run first.

So Bordy--are you coaching? Heckling?

Cool I am winger now.
I've never played it before, but I've seen it on TV. 😉

I will never live up to the Pit-Bull standards of Tito but I will certainly weaze all over opposing attackers...

I think that is because he was subbed out after the second half started.

Just feed the ball up the wing and see what happens.

Probably nothing. But you'll get see me chase the ball to the corner. Should be entertaining.
