The first board or two I joined I went by Maldini, as in one of the greatest defenders ever.

I couldn't use it bs so I picked Blitzzfan. I think Lucky 13 picked that for an email about that same time.

When it came time to register here I thought soccerprime was cool to I tried to think of something like that.

Loyal1 came to me like a flash of inspiration or vanity.

I was even thinking of using it on bs but I didn't want to give up all the rep that I earned over there :D

StarsOnSunday. Okay, it was Labor Day of 2002. Some pals and I had just moved into our college appartment (Carriage Cove, Provo). We met some freshmen girls from Las Vegas who, needless to say, knew nothing of the treasure that is Utah camping. So we packed up the gear and headed out to Huntington Lake on a SUNDAY afternoon (no school the next day). That night the only brave girl and I swam out to the middle of the pitch black lake. She made a comment about never being able to see the STARS like that in Las Vegas. Nine months later we got married.

My username comes from highschool, as well. It all began on our annual marching band trip to California. We had to share hotel rooms, and I wore flannel pj's. When my friends first saw me in them, they bust out laughing and said I looked like Beaver Cleaver. They'd call me Beaver or Beave for short. I hated it initially, but it stuck. Ever since then, I've used beaveman as my screen name in almost every internet application.

10 years later, my friends have finally started calling me by my given name and not Beave! :D

Do I need to say it?

I have absolutely no imagination at all. Also, I'm lazy. It's so much easier using your real name. And when I go to meetings and tailgates, I don't get asked, "What's your real name?"

Oh, and no one asks me how I came up with my screen name, at least not often. πŸ˜‰

hahaha So true.

Except I get the question of "is Hiba my real name" far too often. Oh well.

I'm thinking you and Jason are the only two lazier than me when it comes to that. πŸ™„

I chose SoccerisLife, because it's my life. Practices, Games, and FSC [anyone else have that awesome channel?] ARE my free time. Our coaches make us name our soccer balls, [mines Bob, *I know original*] and we have to sleep with them at night. So ya. It is my life. lol.

I really can't say why I use Snarf. I kind of liked Thundercats for the year or two that they were on, but I wasn't that big of a fan. The Transformers and GI Joe were the cartoons and toys that I really liked at the time.

Snarf was just a fun goofy name, that always caught my attention. In high school my friends and I sometimes used to talk like Snarf did, saying "snarf, snarf." after things we'd say.

There was a short period where I called my son Snarf, but that passed and I started calling him Bucco. He likes that for some reason and has made it his official nickname, even though it's totally generic and as common and cheesy as chief or tiger or something like that. He gets mad at me if I call one of the other kids Bucco though.

It's just something I started using for Internet purposes. Sometimes I have to attach a number to the end of it, because other people like the name Snarf as well, apparently.

Wait... you have my real name on a shirt? Wait.... I remember. You work for the floral peoples that I used to work for! ha ha. Wait... what shirt... ohhhh... my uniform shirt? Holy chunder. That is waay waay waay funny. You are my hero! (sorry bordy7, there is another)

Do you like that run? I used to have the Price run. I liked that except for when I fell asleep at the wheel. <--- That is not so fun! 😲

I am a better person for having Czar Jake for a former-uniform-of-mine wearer. Fabuloso.

PS - I'm sorry if it still smells like me!
