I didn't get involved in this until I saw a post which I viewed as attacking Glenn yesterday.

Look, the wall is covered now, can we all just put it away and stop getting personal?

EDIT: Thanks, but I hope you'll understand my point of view when I feel that the tone of many of the EARLIER posts here (not all by you) suggest otherwise.

Okay, cool. So let's get together and have some discussion about it. Like I said, you guys are awesome. How about if everyone steps back and starts talking openly and honestly about this, and we can get it all cleared up.

I'll start.

Some of us don't really like some of the songs we sing. My solution has been to just sing them anyway, and try to start other ones when I can. Another solution would be to take those out of our reportoir. Any comments?

I think the posts you are referring to are probably "defense mechanism" posts.

We have been trying to write add new ones all along. We don't sing the Crapids song anymore.

If those people are willing to forgive and forget, why can't you? This is exactly what people talk about when they say you want to continue this. There have been several attempts by people to offer olive branches, yet you continue to brush them away because you are unable to forgive and seem to want to carry a grudge.

There's no reason for any of us to carry grudges at all. They do absolutely no good to anyone. Please, I'm asking you again, let's just work on forgiving each other and then moving on to make things even better in the future. Please!

Yes, but the real question is whether or not that tone is representative of the Loyalists as a whole. A break off, not on the basis of creative differences, but on the disagreements of rep/cencorship, etc., has no logical basis. It's all emotional, and that's the problem. That's where we will get ourselves into trouble.

Some of the chants we do, Glenn really doesn't like, but he does them anyway eg. Who's your father?

Yeah, we only really sang the Crapids ones when we played them.

I think we all have chants that we don't particularly care for, but we do them because others do. That's what it means to be part of a group. Sometimes you have to give a little to get a little in return.

I personally don't like the "all we are saying..." chant at all. It seems very demanding to me.
