If you weren't you might be real quick if you bid like that.

All for the cause.

The first item auctions have ended. as of now (10:10am) the only stuff left are the autrographed pictures... There are still a few that are quite affordable. Go take a look and make a bid. You never know!

Don't feel bad. I'm waaaaay old enough, but I haven't got any money! And that's about how it goes, in life. Get used to it! 😒

😎

By the way, did you know you can see the bidding history? Click where it says there have been 8 or 22 bids (or whatever), and you'll see who bid what, and when. It's very interesting. Especially, there are several people who keep bidding against themselves! On person appears to bid up to a certain price then stop, the funny thing is, he's the only one bidding! I don't understand it, as it shows right on the screen what the last bid is and who placed it.

Yeah, I looked at it, there was a guy who bid twice in a row and then someone else did so he did it like 50 cents more...

The way I understand it, you enter the maximum you will pay (like I did) but it only increases each time someone else makes a bid. So it may appear someone is bidding against themselves, but it's because someone else bid and it was a bid under the maximum you set. Does this make sense?

Actually, they really only bid once. Here's how it works: If an item has a starting bid of $15.00 with a $1.00 bid increment, a bidder will enter in their MAX bid...say $35.00. If another bidder comes along and bids $17.00, the system will automatically bid for the original bidder and his new bid will become $18.00. The system will place these automatic bids until their MAX bid has been reached. The FAILED bids will not be recorded as a bid, since they were automatically outbid by the original bidder. If someone comes in and bids $35.01, since this is over the MAX bid of the original bidder, they will be the new top bidder.

Now are you totally confused??? πŸ™…

OK so I'm an Ebay novice.
If I want to just pick up my item at Iggy's on Saturday do I still pay the shipping or can I subtract that out? Also, are you going to be at Iggy's on Saturday Deuce?
